PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the Bridle Path Row area of Bayonet Point on Tuesday, resulting in injuries to both a woman and a man.
“Preliminary information indicates an altercation between known parties occurred,” said the Pasco Sheriff’s Office.
According to preliminary information released by the Pasco Sheriff’s Office, a woman was shot by a man, who also sustained injuries during the incident. Before the arrival of law enforcement, the female victim left the residence and transported herself for medical attention.
Deputies attempted to make contact with individuals inside the residence.

After several unsuccessful attempts, deputies entered the home and subsequently detained the male suspect. He was then transported for medical attention.
The Pasco Sheriff’s Office has indicated that this appears to be an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to public safety.
