Attention sportsmen and wildlife enthusiasts: The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) has announced that the application periods for the popular Statewide Alligator Harvest Program and the Alligator Super Hunt will commence this Friday, May 2nd, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
Interested individuals are advised that all applications for the Statewide Alligator Harvest Program submitted between May 2nd and May 12th will be afforded an equal opportunity for random selection. Successful applicants will be authorized to harvest alligators within a single designated alligator management unit or county.

For those seeking to enhance their chances of selection, the Alligator Super Hunt offers the option to submit multiple paid applications. This increases the probability of being randomly drawn for hunting opportunities across the majority of available alligator management units and counties.
Applications can be conveniently submitted through several channels: in person at any county tax collector’s office, via an authorized license agent, or online through the FWC’s GoOutdoorsFlorida.com platform.
Please be aware of specific updates regarding hunting restrictions within alligator management units 407 and 408.
Ongoing construction at STA–1W will necessitate increased limitations in these areas.

For details concerning alligator hunting regulations at Stormwater Treatment Areas (STAs), applicants are encouraged to consult the dedicated document available on the FWC website. Navigate to MyFWC.com/Alligator and select the “Statewide Alligator Harvest Program” link to access this important information.
The FWC encourages all eligible individuals to take advantage of these opportunities. We wish all applicants the best of luck in the selection process.
