The challenge is open to all anglers, offering a thrilling incentive for both seasoned fishermen and those new to the “Catch a Florida Memory” program.
To enter the drawing, anglers must achieve “Triple Threat” status during the competition period. This prestigious recognition is awarded to individuals who have successfully participated in three of the program’s core components: the Saltwater Grand Slam, the Saltwater Reel Big Fish, and the Saltwater Life List, which requires documenting at least 10 different species.
For those who have already earned Triple Threat Club honors, each new recognition logged during the challenge period will grant them an additional entry into the grand prize drawing. Notably, both recent catches and older, previously undocumented photos of catches are eligible for submission, providing more opportunities to qualify.

The “Catch a Florida Memory” program is designed to not only reward anglers but also to promote responsible fishing practices and marine conservation. By encouraging participants to target a variety of species, the program helps to distribute fishing pressure more evenly across different fish populations.
Participants are reminded to handle all fish responsibly and to strictly adhere to current fishing regulations. A valid Florida fishing license is required, and practicing best fishing practices is essential to ensuring the long-term health and sustainability of the state’s world-renowned fisheries.
