The Florida Lottery had a busy week last week, announcing that seven players across the state claimed top prizes totaling $11 million from various Scratch-Off games. Winners from Orlando to Jacksonville stepped forward to claim their life-changing winnings.
The winning streak began on Monday with two announcements. Jessica Montalvo, 48, of Orlando, claimed a $1 million prize from the popular 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s Orlando District Office. She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.00. Montalvo purchased her winning ticket from Corrine Drive Shell, located at 2924 Corrine Drive in Orlando. The retailer received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

Also on Monday, Inocencio Cintron, 67, of Jupiter, claimed a $1 million top prize from THE CASH WHEEL Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s West Palm Beach District Office. He opted for a one-time, lump-sum payment of $605,016.40. Cintron purchased his ticket from Stop N Shop Food, located at 391 Seabrook Road in Tequesta, which also received a $2,000 bonus commission.
Tuesday saw two more million-dollar winners. Patricia Miles, of Panama City, claimed a $1 million prize from the $15,000,000 GOLD RUSH MULTIPLIER Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. Miles turned a $30 ticket into a fortune, choosing a one-time, lump-sum payment of $597,700.00. Her winning ticket was purchased at Publix, located at 2310 S Highway 77 in Lynn Haven, earning the retailer a $2,000 bonus commission.
The second winner on Tuesday was Brett Hold, 45, of Stuart, who claimed a $1 million prize from the 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters. Hold also took a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.00. He bought his winning ticket from Speedway, located at 2860 Davie Road in Davie, resulting in a $2,000 bonus commission for the retailer.

Mid-week, on Wednesday, Ismael Martinez Gutierrez, 37, of North Lauderdale, claimed a $1 million prize from the $1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s Miami District Office. He selected a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.00. Martinez Gutierrez purchased his winning ticket from Aunt Molly’, located at 1691 S. State Road 7 in North Lauderdale. The retailer also received a $2,000 bonus commission.
Thursday added another millionaire to the list. Vaughn Conlin, 41, of Royal Palm Beach, claimed a $1 million prize from the GOLD RUSH LEGACY Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s West Palm Beach District Office. Conlin turned a $20 ticket into $1 million, choosing a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.00. He purchased the winning ticket from 7-Eleven, located at 10025 Belvedere Road in West Palm Beach, which received a $2,000 bonus commission.
The week concluded with the largest win announced on Friday. Lucinda Joseph-Rann, 54, of Jacksonville, claimed a $5 million top prize from the $5,000,000 CROSSWORD CASH Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $3,262,138.00. Joseph-Rann purchased her winning ticket from Gate Petroleum Company, located at 60 Airport Center Drive in Jacksonville. Due to the higher prize amount, the retailer received a $10,000 bonus commission for selling the top-prize winning ticket.

The $5,000,000 CROSSWORD CASH Scratch-Off game, which costs $20 per ticket, offers over $239.6 million in cash prizes, including four top prizes of $5 million. The game has overall odds of winning of 1-in-2.9.
Scratch-Off games remain a significant part of the Florida Lottery’s game portfolio, accounting for approximately 74 percent of ticket sales in fiscal year 2023-2024. Since its inception, the Florida Lottery has awarded over $65.5 billion in prizes, created 2,283 millionaires, and generated more than $19.80 billion for the state’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF).
