A Lake City man is the Sunshine State’s newest millionaire after claiming a $3 million FLORIDA LOTTO® jackpot. The Florida Lottery announced today that Guy Larson, 58, of Lake City, presented his winning ticket from the March 29, 2025, drawing at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.
Larson opted to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,647,453.00.
The jackpot-winning ticket was purchased at Murphy USA, located at 2659 W. U.S. Hwy. 90 in Lake City. The retailer will receive a bonus commission of $25,000 for selling the fortunate ticket.
