Florida Officials Issue Warning Against Riots And Doxing Ahead Of “No Kings” Protests

As opponents of President Donald Trump’s administration prepare for nationwide “No Kings” rallies this Saturday, coinciding with a military parade in Washington D.C. for the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary, Florida officials have issued a forceful declaration against violent demonstrations and the doxing of law enforcement officers.

Following recent violent protests targeting federal immigration officers in California, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier delivered a stern warning on Thursday, emphasizing the state’s zero-tolerance policy for rioters and individuals attempting to intimidate law enforcement.

“Florida is the anti-riot state, and unlike California, we support law enforcement,” declared Attorney General Uthmeier, underscoring the state’s unwavering commitment to protecting those who enforce immigration laws. He directly addressed the recent unrest in Los Angeles, where “leftist mobs” were reported to have obstructed roadways, torched vehicles, and looted stores.

Uthmeier made it clear that any attempts to dox federal agents – publishing their personal information online with intent to harm – will be met with the full force of the law.

“If the left doxes these agents, we will have their backs,” he stated. “Whether you make the poor choice to riot or publish an agent’s personal information online to bring harm, you are committing a crime in Florida. We will find you and hold you accountable.”

Local law enforcement in Florida echoed this sentiment. Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey distinguished between peaceful protest and violent acts. “Peaceful protest is part of our democracy and when it’s done right, we will make sure you have a safe environment to do it in!!” said Sheriff Ivey. “But if you let it turn violent, you’re gonna find out real quick what Brevard County is all about as the crap you see taking place in other parts of the country ain’t gonna happen here!!”

Florida Highway Patrol Colonel Gary Howze reinforced the state’s stance against sanctuary policies, stating, “The only sanctuaries in Florida are to protect animals, not criminals. Florida is not a sanctuary state.”

The “No Kings” protests, organized by the 50501 Movement, are planned for nearly 2,000 locations nationwide, though notably not in Washington D.C. where the military parade will be held.

The 50501 Movement, representing “50 states, 50 protests, one movement,” aims to counter what it calls the “authoritarian actions” of the Trump administration and the “militarization of the country’s democracy.” Organizers anticipate millions of participants and stress a commitment to nonviolent action.
