
TAMPA, Fla.– Beginning at 9 am today, all lanes on West Azeele Street will close between South Dale Mabry Highway and South Church Avenue as the Tampa Water Department conducts scheduled maintenance on the water distribution system.
Barricades and signs will be located in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. All lanes will reopen to traffic daily at 5 pm and close again the following morning at 9 am.
Please consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area. Modifications to lane closures may be necessary during the course of the work.

The work is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, with a return to normal traffic patterns. However, the Tampa Water Department may need to return later to complete additional work.
An update will be provided then. Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions. The Tampa Water Department staff and crews appreciate everyone’s patience during this time.
