LARGO, Fla. – This Mother’s Day weekend, SPCA Tampa Bay is extending a heartwarming invitation to the community: find a new furry family member and enjoy half off all pet adoptions!
In a special initiative running from Friday, May 9th through Sunday, May 11th, the shelter is offering this significant discount in the hopes of connecting their adoptable dogs, cats, and small animals with loving homes, just in time for Mother’s Day.
Inspired by their deep appreciation for all mothers – foster moms, animal-loving moms, and human mothers alike – SPCA Tampa Bay is encouraging individuals and families to consider opening their hearts and homes to a deserving animal. Whether you already have two-legged or four-legged children, this weekend presents a wonderful opportunity to expand your family with a new companion.

Currently, SPCA Tampa Bay is home to 20 cats, 40 dogs, and 15 small animals, all eagerly awaiting their forever families. As a “For-All” shelter, they embrace animals from all walks of life and unique circumstances, ensuring each one receives care and a chance at a brighter future.
Adoption hours for this special event are 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, May 9th, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both Saturday, May 10th, and Sunday, May 11th.
