PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – An 84-year-old Haines City man was killed Thursday night in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 75 in Pasco County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on May 22, 2025. Troopers report the man was driving a 1931 Ford Custom northbound on I-75. Just north of State Road 52, near milepost 287, the classic vehicle experienced a rear tire blowout.

According to the FHP report, the Ford veered onto the shoulder of the highway and collided with a tree.
The impact ejected the driver from the vehicle. He sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.
