PLANT CITY, Fla. – Hillsborough County Fire Rescue (HCFR) crews responded to a residential structure fire in Plant City on Tuesday night. At 9:39 PM, the county’s emergency dispatch center received multiple 911 calls reporting flames at a home located at 3118 Jim Johnson Road.

The first crews to arrive on the scene encountered fire visible extending through the roof of the single-story home. Firefighters initiated an aggressive interior attack to combat the blaze.

Firefighters had the blaze under control within 40 minutes of their arrival.

Following the knockdown of the fire, HCFR personnel conducted a thorough search of the home, and no individuals were found inside the residence. No injuries were reported to either civilians or the responding firefighters.

The cause of the fire remains undetermined at this time and is currently under investigation by Hillsborough County authorities.
