Hillsborough County Opens Safe Haven At Middleton High School

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – As heavy rain and wind are expected from Hurricane Helene, Hillsborough County is opening a safe haven at Middleton High School for residents impacted by the storm.

Safe Haven Location:

  • Middleton High School
  • 4801 N. 22nd St., Tampa, FL 33610
  • Opens at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6

Transportation Assistance:

Residents needing transportation to the safe haven can call 833-HC STORM (833-427-8676) for assistance. The helpline is available until 7 p.m.
