The incident unfolded around 3:10 a.m. this morning when Neraasen, a 28-year-old white male, reportedly forced his way into a home on Cobblestone Drive, in the vicinity of Spring Hill Drive and Kass Circle. Authorities confirmed the incident was domestic in nature, and fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Neraasen, described as 5’11” tall, weighing 180 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes, fled the scene on foot before law enforcement arrived. He was last seen wearing a light grey tank top and light blue shorts, heading east on Spring Hill Drive near Kass Circle.
Throughout the morning, HCSO deployed Aviation and K-9 units in an extensive search for Neraasen, who was considered armed and dangerous. Residents in the affected area were urged to remain indoors and exercise extreme caution.

Despite the search efforts, Neraasen remains at large. However, a significant development in the case was the recovery of the weapon believed to have been used in the home invasion.
The investigation into the incident remains active. The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office continues to urge residents to report anything suspicious by calling 9-1-1 immediately or contacting the HCSO directly at 352-754-6830.
