CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. – A 69-year-old Beverly Hills man sustained non-life-threatening injuries yesterday afternoon after crashing his Chevy Camaro on North Forest Ridge Boulevard. Authorities suspect impairment played a role in the incident.
The accident occurred at approximately 2:55 PM on Friday, May 30, 2025. The driver, who was traveling southbound on North Forest Ridge Boulevard, reportedly failed to negotiate a curve just north of West Casurina Place. His vehicle veered off the road, entering the grassy median where it collided with a tree.

The Camaro continued its uncontrolled path, rotating onto a sidewalk before finally coming to a stop after striking a pedestrian handrail.
The driver was transported to an area hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. The incident remains under investigation, with impairment noted as a contributing factor by troopers.
