Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) has issued a warning regarding the alleged cover-up of President Biden’s cognitive decline, suggesting the Biden administration may face a “catastrophe they can’t contain.” Speaking on Fox News’ “Hannity,” Paul raised serious concerns about potential abuses of Article II presidential powers.
The Kentucky Senator drew parallels to Woodrow Wilson’s presidency, where Wilson’s wife, Edith, effectively ran the country after he suffered a debilitating stroke in 1919.
Paul stated, “This was not a well-kept secret in Washington. Scuttlebutt was, they were calling Joe Biden Mrs. Wilson.” Paul believes that the truth will emerge regarding who was responsible for the alleged “auto pen.”

“Someone had to do it, and I think if we find that person… and if that chain doesn’t lead up to the president, I think that you will have a catastrophe and they will have a catastrophe that they can’t even contain,” he asserted.
He acknowledged the difficulty in compelling presidential testimony or doctor’s testimony due to patient privacy, but maintained that if President Biden was behind the “auto pen,” he could be compelled to testify.
The discussion also touched upon the Special Counsel Hur’s report that described President Biden’s memory as “hazy,” “fuzzy,” “lacking a good memory,” and that he “did not remember when he was vice president.”

Host Sean Hannity suggested that if Biden were to testify before a Senate or House committee, he would likely “lie” to protect his legacy and that he would not be “up to the task.”
Senator Paul echoed this sentiment, calling the interview with the Special Counsel “extraordinary,” and highlighted the unprecedented nature of a “leader of the Free World who is actually judged to be incompetent to testify that he could not be a reliable witness, that he could not be a competent witness, and he couldn’t stand trial for lack of competency at the same time was the leader of the Free World and the president United States. It’s just extraordinary.”
He concluded that the release of the audio from that interview is “so damaging” to those who supported President Biden, and that staff involved are “guilty of, if not a crime, a great disservice to the country.”

A significant point of concern raised during the discussion was the critical difference between the Woodrow Wilson era and the present day: the nuclear age.
Hannity emphasized that President Biden, as commander-in-chief, possessed the “nuclear football” at all times.
The worry expressed was that if he was not capable of making such critical decisions, and this was known, hidden, and covered up, then the public needs to know “who was really in charge here. In charge of that decision, that’s the chilling part. It’s a lot different than 1918, uh, a much more complicated… way more complicated.”
