LAKELAND, Fla. – A stroke of luck has made a Lakeland resident a millionaire. The Florida Lottery announced this week that Kham Seger, 58, of Lakeland, claimed a $1 million prize from the $1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR Scratch-Off game.
Seger chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.00. She claimed her prize at the Lottery’s Tampa District Office.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Publix located at 4747 S. Florida Avenue in Lakeland. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the fortunate Scratch-Off ticket.

The $1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR is a $50 Scratch-Off game that launched with significant fanfare, offering two top prizes of $1 million a year for life and 234 prizes of $1 million.
