LAKELAND, Fla. – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary of a conveyance and attempted stolen vehicle that occurred early Sunday morning, June 1, 2025, on Gladys Avenue in Lakeland.
According to the PCSO, a woman residing on Gladys Avenue discovered her vehicle had been ransacked and damaged to the point of being inoperable. Approximately $150 in cash was also reported missing from inside the vehicle.

Detectives are seeking information regarding a suspect captured on video surveillance. The individual is described as a black male wearing a grey hoodie, blue jeans, black shoes, a black backpack, and green gloves.
