Man Dies Following Argument And Shooting In Zephyrhills

ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. – A man was shot and killed on Vinson Avenue in Zephyrhills this evening, as the Pasco Sheriff’s Office (PSO) investigates. According to preliminary information released by the PSO, an adult male has died following an altercation with another adult male.

Investigators say that the incident stemmed from an argument between the two men. During the dispute, one man was shot and subsequently fled the scene on foot.

He collapsed a short distance away, where first responders located him. Despite immediate aid provided at the scene, the injured man died from his injuries.

Deputies say that this is considered an isolated incident, and they have accounted for all involved parties. The Pasco Sheriff’s Office assures the public that there is no ongoing threat to public safety.

The man believed to be the shooter is reportedly cooperating with law enforcement officials as they conduct their investigation.
