PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A 60-year-old Holiday man sustained serious injuries late Sunday night after his motorcycle was struck by a hit-and-run driver at the intersection of Grand Boulevard and Sunray Drive. The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is actively searching for the driver of what is believed to be a silver SUV that fled the scene.
The collision occurred at approximately 11:21 PM on May 25, 2025. According to FHP reports, the unknown SUV, possibly silver, was traveling southbound on Grand Boulevard. Simultaneously, the 60-year-old man was operating his Harley-Davidson Street Glide motorcycle eastbound on Sunray Drive.

Investigators determined that the SUV driver failed to comply with the traffic signal at the intersection, driving into the motorcycle’s path and causing the collision.
Following the crash, the driver of the SUV fled the scene. The vehicle was last seen heading southbound on Grand Boulevard.

The injured motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. His current condition has not been released.
Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the hit-and-run crash, the suspect vehicle, or its driver to come forward. Tips can be reported by calling the Florida Highway Patrol at FHP (347) or by contacting Crime Stoppers at **TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
