PINELLAS PARK, Fla. – A single-vehicle motorcycle collision in Pinellas Park early Saturday morning has left one individual with life-threatening injuries.
According to Pinellas Park Police, at approximately 3:17 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to reports of a crash at the intersection of 49th Street North and 81st Avenue North.
Investigators say a 2020 blue Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling northbound in the 8100 block of 49th Street North when the rider lost control of the vehicle and struck the median.

The rider sustained critical injuries as a result of the impact. Emergency medical services were immediately dispatched to the scene, and the injured individual was transported to a local hospital.
Police say the cause of the rider losing control is currently under investigation. It remains unknown at this time whether impairment played a role in the crash.
