POLK COUNTY, Fla. – What began as a routine traffic infraction for 33-year-old Robert Allen Movrich quickly escalated into a litany of charges and an unwelcome trip to the Polk County Jail on Monday night.

At approximately 9:04 PM, Movrich, driving a white 2005 Chevy Silverado, caught the attention of a Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputy in the area of Imperial Boulevard and Blackwater Oaks in Mulberry. The initial infraction, according to authorities, involved an invalid temporary Texas tag displayed on the truck.

Upon initiating a traffic stop, the deputy’s investigation swiftly uncovered a cascade of legal troubles for Movrich. It was first determined that Movrich’s driver’s license had been suspended in 2024. Further checks revealed an active Polk County warrant for Violation of Probation.

The discoveries didn’t end there. Movrich was also found to have an active warrant out of Osceola County for serious charges including Transmission of Harmful Material to a Minor, Solicitation of a Minor, and Unlawful Use of a 2-Way Communication Device.

Robert Movrich was subsequently arrested and transported to the Polk County Jail. Authorities noted that Movrich is no stranger to the facility, having a prior record that includes arrests for grand theft, dealing in stolen property, and narcotics.

In addition to the outstanding warrants, Movrich faces new citations for Attaching an Unassigned Tag, Possession of a Suspended Driver’s License (DWLSR – Driving While License Suspended or Revoked), Failure to Maintain Insurance, Operating a Vehicle without a Registration, and No Tag Light.

Movrich remains in custody at the Polk County Jail, awaiting further legal proceedings.
