Pasco County Community Invited To Free Food Distribution Event In Dade City

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – The Pasco Sheriff’s Office (PSO) is joining forces with a host of community-focused organizations to host a free food distribution event next week, aiming to provide much-needed support to residents.

The collaborative effort includes Pasco Sheriff’s Charities, Farm Share, Moore-Mickens Education Center, the Gentlemen’s Course, Samaritan Corporation of Pasco County Inc., and the Pasco County NAACP. By pooling their resources, these organizations are working together to combat food insecurity within the community.

The upcoming food distribution will take place on Thursday, May 22nd, at 9:00 a.m. at the Moore-Mickens Education Center, located at 38301 Martin Luther King Blvd., in Dade City.

The sheriff’s office says that the distribution will operate on a first-come, first-served basis, encouraging those in need to arrive early to ensure they receive assistance.
