PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 7 has released its weekly lane closure summary for Pasco County, effective Saturday, June 8, through Friday, June 14, 2025.
Motorists are advised to anticipate significant delays and plan alternative routes where possible, particularly for those traveling through Dade City.
Several key roadways in Pasco County will experience lane closures due to ongoing construction and maintenance activities. Drivers are encouraged to exercise caution, adhere to posted speed limits, and be aware of construction personnel and equipment in work zones.

Key Closures and Impacts:
- US 98 (Dade City Bypass) from River Road to Meridian Avenue: A major long-term closure remains in effect, with the southbound lanes closed and detoured to 7th Street 24 hours per day. This closure is expected to continue through approximately October 2025. Drivers should seek alternative routes and be prepared for increased traffic on detour roads.
- US 19 (multiple sections):
- Approaching and through the San Marco Drive / Johnson Road intersection: Day lane closures will be in place Monday, June 9, through Friday, June 13, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Night lane closures are scheduled Monday, June 9, through Thursday, June 12 nights, from 8 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
- Between Elizabeth Avenue and Edna Avenue: Similar to the San Marco Drive intersection, day lane closures are scheduled Monday, June 9, through Friday, June 13, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with night lane closures Monday, June 9, through Thursday, June 12 nights, from 8 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
- US 98 between CR 54 and Townsend Road: Periodic lane closures and flagging operations, affecting up to half-mile sections at a time, will occur Monday, June 9, through Friday, June 13, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- US 41 (Land O’ Lakes Blvd) from Willow Bend Parkway / County Line Road to Bell Lake Road: Night lane closures are planned Sunday, June 8, through Thursday, June 12 nights, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- SR 54 (multiple sections):
- From east of Little Road to Marathon Road: Day lane closures will be in effect Monday, June 9, through Friday, June 13, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Night lane closures are scheduled Sunday, June 8, through Friday, June 13 nights, from 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
- From west of Virginia City Drive to Old Mill Pond Drive: Lane closures will occur Monday, June 9, through Friday, June 13, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- From US 41 to east of Knight Road: Night lane closures are scheduled Sunday, June 8, through Thursday, June 12 nights, from 9 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
- CR 52 (multiple sections):
- In the roundabout and from Lemon Street to Smith Road: Lane closures and flagging operations are planned Sunday, June 8, through Thursday, June 12 nights, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- (Meridian Avenue) from 21st Street to US 98 Bypass / US 301: Lane closures and flagging operations will be in effect Sunday, June 8, through Thursday, June 12 nights, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
