DADE CITY, Fla. – A deputy-involved shooting in Dade City Tuesday evening has resulted in the death of 25-year-old Cristian Javier Estrada Perez. The incident, which occurred around 8:30 p.m. in the Rose Avenue area, is currently under investigation by the Pasco Sheriff’s Office.

According to preliminary information released by the Pasco Sheriff’s Office, deputies were attempting to make contact with Javier around 8:25 p.m. to serve an ex parte order. This order was issued by a court at the request of Javier’s family due to threats he had reportedly made against them.
