Pasco Schools Announce Free Summer Meal Program For Children

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Pasco County Schools is gearing up to provide free and nutritious meals to children and teens throughout the summer months. The district’s Summer Food Service Program will kick off on Monday, June 9th, ensuring that students have access to breakfast and lunch even when school is out.

The program, which runs Monday through Thursday, is open to anyone 18 years of age and younger at numerous school locations across the county.

Parents and guardians can find convenient sites operating for varying durations throughout the summer.

Participating School Sites:

  • June 9th – June 26th: Anclote High, East Pasco Education Academy, Fivay High, Gulf High, Hudson High, Pasco Middle, Richey Elementary, River Ridge Middle, Wendell Krinn, West Pasco Education, Wesley Chapel High, Zephyrhills High.
  • June 9th – July 10th: Sand Pine Elementary.
  • June 9th – July 24th: Bayonet Point Middle, Centennial Elementary, Cotee River Elementary, Deer Park Elementary, Dr. Mary Giella Elementary, Fox Hollow Elementary, Gulf Trace Elementary, Hudson Primary Academy, James M. Marlowe Elementary, Moon Lake Elementary, Pasco Elementary, Pine View Elementary, Quail Hallow Elementary, R.B. Cox Elementary, R.B. Stewart Middle, Schrader Elementary, Seven Springs Elementary, Trinity Elementary, Wesley Chapel Elementary, Woodland Elementary.

Students attending PLACE or Extended School Year programs at these listed schools will receive their meals on campus during their program hours.

For families seeking a convenient option, curbside meal pickup will be available every Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM between June 9th and July 22nd. Each Tuesday pickup will provide seven days’ worth of breakfast and lunch for each child at the following locations:

  • Connerton Elementary
  • Lacoochee Elementary
  • San Antonio Elementary

In an effort to reach more families, Pasco Schools will also operate several mobile feeding sites offering lunch Monday through Thursday at the following community locations:

  • Hilltop Landings Apartments (37611 Colina Drive, Dade City)
  • Resurrection House Park (37124 Lock Street, Dade City)
  • Zephyrhills YMCA (37301 Chapel Hill Loop, Zephyrhills)
  • Zephyr Park (38116 5th Avenue, Zephyrhills)
  • New River Library (34043 SR 54, Wesley Chapel)
  • Hercules Park (38110 Co RD 54, Zephyrhills)
  • Dade City Splash Pad (14042 10th St, Dade City)
  • Regency Park Library New Port Richey (9701 Little Rd, New Port Richey)
  • James Irvin Civic Center (38122 Martin Luther King Blvd, Dade City)
