AUBURNDALE, Fla. – A Pennsylvania man wanted for attempted murder was arrested without incident in Auburndale on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
At approximately 4:05 pm on Tuesday, May 6th, deputies made a traffic stop on a blue 2007 KIA Optima traveling southbound on Lake Ariana Boulevard. The driver was identified as 28-year-old Brodrick Fields of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
While Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, is listed as Fields’ current address, deputies noted that he has ties to several Central Florida locations, including Waverly, Winter Haven, Bartow, and Orlando. The Sheriff’s Office also alluded to previous encounters with Fields.

The traffic stop occurred at the Dollar General store located on Lake Ariana Boulevard. Deputies swiftly apprehended Fields due to an outstanding warrant for attempted murder out of Franklin County, Pennsylvania.
The arrest was made without any reported incidents.
