Pinellas County Sheriff Arrests St. Petersburg Man On Child Pornography Charges

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – A St. Petersburg man was arrested today by detectives from the Crimes Against Children Unit (CAC) following an investigation into the online sharing of child pornography. Steven Landice, 39, faces multiple felony charges related to the possession and transmission of the material.

The investigation began on December 19, 2024, after authorities received information indicating that child pornography was being accessed and distributed online.

Utilizing various investigative methods, detectives identified Landice as the suspect. According to the CAC unit, the illegal images involved children between the ages of three and eight.

Detectives apprehended Landice on Wednesday, charging him with 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography and six counts of Transmission of Child Pornography. Following his arrest, Landice was transported to the Pinellas County Jail.
