PLANT CITY, Fla. – Motorists planning to use the eastbound Interstate 4 (I-4) ramp to Mango Road (Exit 10) will need to find an alternate route overnight this Thursday.
The ramp will be temporarily closed to all traffic starting at 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 1st, and will remain closed until 5 a.m. on Friday, May 2nd, weather permitting, according to transportation officials.
The closure is necessary to facilitate ongoing improvement work at the I-4 interchange with Mango Road in Hillsborough County, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.

During the closure, eastbound I-4 drivers seeking to access Mango Road will be detoured as follows:
- Exit I-4 at Exit 14 for McIntosh Road.
- Turn right onto McIntosh Road.
- Turn right onto Hillsborough Avenue.
- Continue westbound on Hillsborough Avenue until reaching Mango Road.
