Suspect Who Robbed Medical Practice In Tarpon Springs Arrested

TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. - Police in Tarpon Springs have made an arrest in the robbery that happened at New Aged Medical Association on June 19th.

TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. – Police in Tarpon Springs have made an arrest in the robbery that happened at New Aged Medical Association on June 19th.

On Friday, at approximately 10:08 PM, Marcus Gerald Britton was arrested and charged with Robbery with a Deadly Weapon, Kidnapping, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

Detectives from the Tarpon Springs Police Department with assistance from the Pinellas Park Police Department, took Britton into custody without incident.

According to police, on Monday, June 19, at approximately 11:47 AM, a report of a robbery occurred at 1730 S Pinellas Unit J, the New Age Medical Association.

When police arrived, they were informed the suspect, identified as Britton, was wearing a surgical mask.

The suspect entered the business, brandished a firearm, and demanded money. 

Police say Britton fled the business and entered into a silver in color vehicle, fleeing south on Pinellas Ave.
