RIVERVIEW, Fla. – Motorists traveling southbound on I-75 in Riverview will encounter nightly closures of the ramp to US 301 South on Tuesday, June 3, and Wednesday, June 4, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting.
The temporary closures are necessary to allow crews to perform concrete pavement repairs on I-75 between Progress Boulevard and Woodberry Road in Hillsborough County.
During these overnight closures, southbound I-75 motorists intending to access US 301 South will need to follow a detour.

Drivers should stay right at the fork when approaching the US 301 exit, effectively proceeding toward US 301 North. They will then merge onto northbound US 301, turn left onto Faulkenburg Road, turn left onto Progress Boulevard, and finally proceed east back towards US 301.
Electronic message boards and clear signage will be in place to guide motorists through the affected area. Drivers are urged to exercise caution while navigating the work zone and to remain alert for construction workers.
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reminds drivers that these repairs are crucial for maintaining the integrity and safety of I-75 in Hillsborough County.
