BRANDON, Fla. – Detectives with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a road rage shooting that occurred on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
According to investigators, deputies responded to a shooting incident in the 11200 block of Causeway Boulevard in Brandon. The preliminary investigation revealed that a black sedan, occupied by the suspect, had stopped behind the victim’s vehicle at a stop sign.
Authorities report that the shooter then exited his black sedan and fired a total of three rounds at the victim’s vehicle.

Before the shooting, an unidentified male was seen exiting the front driver’s side of the black sedan. He is described as being approximately 6’0″ tall and weighing around 200 pounds. At the time of the incident, he was reportedly wearing a tan shirt and khaki pants.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has not released information regarding the victim’s condition or any further details about the victim’s vehicle.
