SARASOTA, Fla. – All lanes of Fruitville Road at the intersection of Paramount Drive reopened to traffic following a vehicle crash and fire that happened Monday night, approximately 9:00 PM.
Emergency services, including the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, Sarasota County Fire Department, and Florida Highway Patrol, investigated the incident.

While several people involved in the crash were transported to local hospitals for treatment, authorities confirmed there were no fatalities. The conditions of those injured have not been released.
Motorists who were advised to seek alternative routes earlier have now been informed that normal traffic flow has resumed in the area.
