PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Detectives with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Crimes Against Children Unit (CAC) have arrested a Seminole man for the transmission of videos depicting sexual activity involving animals.
Jose Amadeo, 53, of Seminole, was taken into custody on Wednesday after an investigation that began in late 2024.
According to detectives, their investigation started on December 26, 2024, following a tip that files containing bestiality were being accessed and shared online. Through various investigative techniques, detectives identified Amadeo as the suspect.

The videos in question reportedly depicted adult males and females engaging in sexual intercourse with dogs and horses, deputies say.
When interviewed by detectives on Wednesday, Amadeo admitted to both viewing and transmitting the illicit videos. He has been charged with ten counts of Sexual Activity Involving Animals and was transported to the Pinellas County Jail.
The investigation remains ongoing.
