St. Petersburg Announces Memorial Day Closures, Trash Collection Changes

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The City of St. Petersburg has announced that certain City facilities and services will be closed on Monday, May 26, in observance of Memorial Day. This will also impact residential trash and recycling collection schedules for the beginning of the week.

Residents who normally have their trash and recycling collected on Mondays will see their pickup rescheduled to Tuesday, May 27. Tuesday’s regular collections will be moved to Wednesday, May 28.

Collections for Thursday and Friday will remain on their regular schedule.

The City of St. Petersburg City Hall and government facilities will be closed on Monday.
