The Florida Lottery today announced a series of major prize claims from February, with five fortunate players stepping forward to collect life-changing winnings from various Scratch-Off games. These lucky individuals opted for lump-sum payments totaling over $22.5 million.

The Florida Lottery reminds players that, in accordance with Florida Statutes, the names of lottery winners and their city of residence are public record and may be released by the Florida Lottery after 90 days.

Highlighting the big wins, Natalie Ramos, 54, of Jacksonville, claimed a staggering $1 million a year for life top prize from the $1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR Scratch-Off game. Ramos chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $16,000,000.00.

Her winning ticket was purchased from Walmart, located at 6767 103rd Street in Jacksonville. The retailer will receive a $50,000 bonus commission. The $50 game features two top prizes of $1 million a year for life and 234 prizes of $1 million, with overall odds of winning being 1-in-4.50.

Another significant win came from Panama City, where Angela Hutto, 46, claimed a $2 million top prize from the ULTIMATE VIP CA$HWORD Scratch-Off game. Hutto opted for a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,195,000.00. Her ticket was purchased at Quick Stop, located at 4925 E. Highway 22 in Panama City, which earned a $4,000 bonus commission. The $10 game offers over $185 million in cash prizes, including 8 top prizes of $2 million, with overall odds of 1-in-3.37.

In Orlando, Faber Gomez Ramirez, 46, of Kissimmee, claimed a $250,000 a year for life top prize from the $250,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR game. He chose a lump-sum payment of $4,070,000.00. The winning ticket was sold by Sahara Liquor Store, located at 10771 Beah Boulevard in Jacksonville, which will receive an $8,000 bonus commission. This $10 game boasts four top prizes of $250,000 a year for life, with overall odds of 1-in-3.33.

Maribel Ortega, 45, of Auburndale, turned a $5 investment into a $1 million top prize from the $1,000,000 GOLD RUSH MULTIPLIER Scratch-Off game. She chose a lump-sum payment of $638,100.00. Her winning ticket was purchased from RaceTrac, located at 2227 U.S. Highway 92 in Auburndale. The retailer received a $2,000 bonus commission. Launched in January, this game features six top prizes of $1 million, with overall odds of 1-in-3.84.

Rounding out the major February claims, Kham Seger, 58, of Lakeland, won a $1 million prize from the $1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR Scratch-Off game – the same game that produced the Jacksonville top prize winner. Seger chose a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.00. Her ticket was purchased from Publix, located at 4747 S. Florida Avenue in Lakeland, which earned a $2,000 bonus commission.

Scratch-Off games remain a cornerstone of the Florida Lottery’s offerings, accounting for approximately 74 percent of ticket sales in the 2023-2024 fiscal year. Since their inception, these games have awarded over $66.9 billion in prizes, created 2,350 millionaires, and contributed more than $20.09 billion to the state’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF).
