TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Bay Lightning are on the brink of elimination as they prepare to face the Florida Panthers in Game 5 of their First Round Stanley Cup Playoffs series.

Florida currently leads the series 3-1, having won the first two games in Tampa Bay before the teams split Games 3 and 4 in Florida.

Tampa Bay’s Andrei Vasilevskiy has a 1-3 record in the series with an .884 save percentage. In his playoff career against Florida, Vasilevskiy is 10-9 with a .927 save percentage, a 2.43 goals-against average, and two shutouts.

Tampa Bay scored two goals in 11 seconds in Game 4, the fastest two goals in a playoff game in franchise history. Mitchell Chaffee and Erik Cernak were the scorers.

Brayden Point’s goal in Game 3 tied him with Steven Stamkos for the most even-strength playoff goals against Florida in NHL history.

The Lightning’s playoff record against the Panthers is 10-9, including 5-4 on home ice.
