TAMPA, Fla. – Motorists traveling on North 22nd Street in Tampa should anticipate delays beginning today, June 4, as the northbound lane between East 133rd Avenue and East 132nd Avenue will be closed due to a water main break.
The closure, which will begin at noon today, is necessary for the Tampa Water Department to conduct urgent repairs.

Barricades and signage will be placed in the affected area to guide traffic, and drivers are advised to exercise caution and be aware of potential modifications to traffic flow as work progresses.
The Tampa Water Department anticipates the completion of repairs and a return to normal traffic patterns by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, June 10. However, the schedule is contingent upon favorable weather conditions.
