TREASURE ISLAND, Fla. – The Treasure Island Causeway Bridge is scheduled for a temporary overnight closure beginning at 10 p.m. tonight, June 11, and extending until 6 a.m. tomorrow, June 12. During this eight-hour window, no vehicular traffic will be permitted to cross the bridge.
The closure is necessary to allow crews to reinstall a repaired cylinder, a critical component of the bridge’s operation. Motorists are advised to plan alternative routes during the closure period.

Authorities recommend using the John’s Pass Bridge to the north or the Pinellas Bayway to the south as alternative crossings for access to and from Treasure Island. Delays are anticipated on these alternative routes, and travelers should allow for extra travel time.
