TREASURE ISLAND, Fla. – Treasure Island is set to illuminate the night sky with a dazzling fireworks display over the beach on Friday, July 4th, celebrating Independence Day with a splash of color and community spirit. The show is scheduled to begin around 9 p.m., with a rain date set for July 5th.

The best vantage points for the grand spectacle will be near the Gulf Front Park area of the beach, located at 10400 Gulf Blvd. Attendees are encouraged to bring beach chairs or towels to comfortably enjoy the show.

While the city promises a professional and breathtaking display, residents and visitors are reminded that personal fireworks are strictly prohibited on Treasure Island beaches.

The Treasure Island Police Department will be actively enforcing city ordinances to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees. This includes adherence to the “Leave No Trace” policy, a ban on open flames on the beach, and compliance with coastal lighting standards. Beach Ambassadors will also be on hand to assist and guide visitors.

“We are thrilled to offer a safe and spectacular way for everyone to celebrate Independence Day,” said a spokesperson for the city of Treasure Island. “Our top priority is ensuring a fun and secure environment for all. We ask everyone to leave the fireworks to the professionals and help us keep our beautiful beaches clean and safe.”
