Tampa Police: Missing 62-Year-Old Man With Dementia Located Safe

TAMPA, Fla. – Mr. Edwin has been located and returned home safely, according to the Tampa Police Department.

ORIGINAL REPORT: The Tampa Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a 62-year-old man who has been reported as missing and endangered. Edwin Vasquez was last seen on Monday, June 9, at approximately 8:45 a.m. in the 3300 block of N. 15th Street.

Authorities believe Vasquez, who suffers from dementia, may be in need of immediate care.

Vasquez is described as wearing a Tampa Bay Rays button-down shirt over a black undershirt, khaki shorts, and black Nike tennis shoes. He also wears knee braces on both knees and was seen with a white hat.
