15-Year-Old St. Petersburg Boy In Critical Condition After Being Shot By Fellow Teen

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla - A 16-year-old St. Petersburg boy has been charged with attempted murder in the first-degree in the early morning shooting of a 15-year-boy at an apartment complex on 4th Street North.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla – A 16-year-old St. Petersburg boy has been charged with attempted murder in the first-degree in the early morning shooting of a 15-year-boy at an apartment complex on 4th Street North.

According to police, shortly before 4 a.m. Sunday, a shooting occurred at the Isles of Gateway Apartments at 10600 4th St. N.

A 15-year-old boy suffered a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was transported by ambulance to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Detectives assigned to the investigation developed evidence today that led to the arrest of 16-year-old Nijjah Douglass. The boys are acquaintances, police say.
