19-Year-Old Dade City Man Killed In US-301 Crash

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A Dade City man was killed in a crash that happened on Monday around 3:18 pm, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, a 39-year-old Zephyrhills woman driving a Mercedes C300 was traveling northbound on US-301. 

Troopers say north of Rapid River Boulevard, the Mercedes crossed into the southbound lane and collided with an Isuzu truck. 

The Isuzu then rotated into the path of and was struck by a Toyota 4Runner.

After the impact, the Mercedes came to a stop in the travel lanes of US-301 while the truck and SUV traveled to the east shoulder and overturned. 

The driver of the 4Runner, a 19-year-old Dade City man, suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash. 

The occupants of the other two vehicles suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
