19-Year-Old Found Shot Outside In St. Petersburg And Later Dies, No Suspect In Custody

ST. PETERSBURG, FL. – A 19-year-old man has died after being found with gunshot wounds overnight in St. Petersburg.

According to police, at 12:30 a.m. police were called to the 400 block of 50th Avenue North for a person shot.

Trent Krystoff, 19, was found outside with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he later died of his injuries.

“Our detectives are actively investigating, however we do not have a suspect in custody,” said Yolanda Fernandez, Public Information Officer Manager for St. Petersburg Police Department.
