HERNANDO COUNTY, FL. – A 26-year-old Ridge Manor man was killed while riding a motorcycle overnight in a crash that happened around 12:24 am.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a pickup truck was traveling eastbound on Ridge Manor Boulevard and slowing to turn left onto Knollwood Drive.
Troopers say the motorcycle was traveling eastbound, overtook the pickup truck, and collided with the rear of the truck.
The 26-year-old man was ejected from the motorcycle and suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
