HUDSON, FL. – A 39-year-old Spring Hill man was killed in a car vs. bicycle crash early Sunday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers say a car, driven by a 76-year-old Tarpon Springs man was traveling northbound on US-19 approaching Fulton Avenue as the bicyclist was attempting to travel westbound across the highway.
As the car entered the path of the bike, the vehicle collided with the bicyclist who suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
Troopers say the driver of the car suffered minor injuries in the crash.
