435,000 Lethal Doses of Fentanyl Removed off Pasco County Streets

LAND O’ LAKES, Fla. – Sheriff Chris Nocco, in a social media update today, briefed the public on a staggering 875 grams of fentanyl, which is equivalent to 435,000 lethal doses, taken off the streets in Pasco County during the last 45-days.

Sheriff Nocco said, “Unfortunately in the past two months, of May and June, we had 258 overdoses. In May and June, of the 258 overdoses, 55 of those overdoses were fatal. 55 families lost somebody in our community because of overdoses.”

“Our narcotics unit, along with federal agents, are working to get those drug dealers and drug traffickers out of our community,” said Sheriff Nocco.
