SAINT PETERSBURG, Fla. – Five-year-old Cynthia Green has died from her injuries over the weekend, according to Police. This is after she was found unconscious inside her home on February 22, 2021, from extreme child abuse.
On February 22nd, at 1:44 a.m. St. Pete police officers were called to a house to assist Fire & Rescue on a call for a five-year-old girl with a head injury.
Doctors later determined that the child had severe head trauma and fresh injuries to her body. She also had scarring all over her body to include bite marks.
Police arrested 32-year-old William Green, for two counts of aggravated child abuse with great bodily harm.
Green was the only adult caregiver in the home during the time the child was injured and there were no other children in the house, according to police.
Her father William Green, is now facing additional felony charges of 1st Degree Murder and Neglect of a Child.
