SANIT PETERSBURG, FL. – A 55-year-old man has been arrested and charged with manslaughter after his roommate was found dead.
Investigators say that Tuesday evening at 7 p.m., Police responded to a call of a suspicious death at 3460 24th Avenue South, Apt. 22.
They found Richard John Trembly, 58, deceased in his bedroom. Police say he suffered apparent head trauma.
After investigating, detectives arrested his roommate, Damien Knight, 55, AKA Craig Hammerly, and charged him with manslaughter just before midnight.
Investigators determined the two men had a physical altercation leading to Trembly’s injuries and death.
