Saint Petersburg, Fla – St. Petersburg Officers are currently investigating a crash involving a pedestrian at Central Avenue and 34th St. that occurred at 12:18a.m.
The 58 year old man walked into 34th street and sat in the road near 1st Ave South. The Altima, traveling northbound, struck him and drove off.
The victim, a 58 year old man, died of his injuries.
Police are searching for a 2010-2012 white Nissan Altima sedan with left front damage and missing left front fog light bezel.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the St. Petersburg Police Department Non-Emergency line, 727-893-7780. The victim’s name will be released once we reach his next of kin.
