HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL. – A 58-year-old Spring Hill woman was killed in a morning crash on I-4 Wednesday morning.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, an SUV was traveling eastbound on I-4 in the inside center lane, and the Spring Hill woman was traveling eastbound on I-4 in the outside lane.
Troopers say that West of 50th Street, the SUV changed lanes and collided with the left rear of the woman’s car.
Her car rotated to the outside shoulder and collided with the outside concrete barrier wall, and was redirected before it came to a stop in the outside center lanes of I-4.
The woman was transported to a local hospital but later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
