64-Year-Old Clearwater Man Found Dead, Murder Suspect In Custody

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL. – Detectives assigned to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Robbery-Homicide Unit are conducting a homicide investigation in unincorporated Clearwater.

According to detectives, on January 20, 2022, at approximately 10:09 a.m., deputies responded to a residence located at 15149 Avalon Avenue in Clearwater, for a report of a domestic disturbance.

When deputies arrived at the residence, they observed 31-year-old Robert Warren in the driveway with blood on his hands.

Deputies took Warren into custody and upon entering the residence, they discovered 64-year-old Jerry Lebreux deceased from upper body trauma. Lebreux was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Detectives say Warren and Lebreux were the only occupants at the residence during the incident.

Warren was charged with Murder in the Second Degree and transported to the Pinellas County Jail.
